Our mission is to provide faculty with resources, information and expertise in clinical research in order to foster and facilitate the clinical research enterprise within the SOM and the broader University community.

This office works closely with Departments and faculty to identify clinical research opportunities that match the faculty’s expertise and interests, to identify funding sources for proposed studies, and to work with faculty to facilitate protocol development. The OCRT staff assists faculty in protocol writing and directs faculty to expertise in areas such as statistical design. The OCRT office prepares complete regulatory documents for industry-sponsored and investigator initiated studies. Furthermore, protocol budget preparation, negotiation and submission to SPA can be completed within the OCRT. A myriad of clinical education opportunities are also available.

The OCRT is a one-stop shop to initiate clinical research from your ideas or sponsored protocol to approval and initiation of the study.
