The Tissue Committee will review requests for either large numbers of tissue samples or for relatively scarce tissue samples, such as rare tumors. The decision to provide tissue to an investigator for a given project will depend on the scientific appropriateness of the project, the amount of relevant tissue currently archived and the availability of peer-reviewed funding for the project, as well as appropriate IRB approval.
